Silly Baby

This is after she had been sitting on our bed ... I guess she was pretty tired, because when she was done sitting up, she just kind of fell forward and stayed in this position for several minutes until Dustin and I were done giggling at her and picked her up.

Wyatt

This is Wyatt, Kenzie's new baby cousin. He was born June 17th. Kenzie already thinks he's just a big toy; she tries to grab him and wants to play with him when they are together.

Baby Milestone

She started sitting unassisted 2 days ago! She's already gotten so good at it too; she's getting better balance and she's catching herself more often before she falls. Today she sat for almost a full 15 minutes on the floor in her bedroom while I cleaned her room and put up her laundry!

Bouncer

This bouncer (given to us by a friend of Megan's mom) is so neat; Kenzie loves to sit in it and turn around and bounce! And it's so cute how she gathers all of her toys into the seat with her.

Music

She really enjoyed listening to the music on these headphones!

Forest and Carole are expecting their grandson to arrive any day now. He will be here by the 20th for sure (Monica will be induced that day) but we are all anxious and hoping that he will be here sooner than that. I know Monica is ready too! We can't wait to finally meet him!

I put her down while I was folding my laundry, and before I knew it, she was passed out. She was up late last night (we were at Forest and Carole's watching the Mav's game) so I guess she was still worn out from that.

Sitting up

She's able to sit by herself, propped on her hands, for a very short period at a time (usually no more than about 10 seconds). Her balance is getting better though. She'll be sitting on her own, then crawling, and getting into everything before we know it!

She loves to stand (with our help) all the time, and she's getting really good at it. Those thunder thighs are good for something!

Kate was playing around with her black and white setting .. as you can see, she likes to chew on her hands.

So many aspects of this picture are so unbelievable cute ... the messy hair .. the pouty lip .. the sleeping baby .. so cute!!!

First time eating carrots ... she enjoyed them a lot.
This was a couple of weeks ago ... now, she has eaten cereal, carrots, squash, sweet potatoes, and peas. Tomorrow, she starts green beans!
