She finally started crawling this morning! We're still working on a good video of it--she's still kind of wobbly, but here's one for now:

Teeth!

After weeks of constant drooling and biting, she finally cut her first tooth today! (it's her bottom front left tooth) It's barely poking above the surface, but you can definitely see and feel its' sharp edge. The other bottom front one isn't far behind!

Late Night

Here she is, all smiles, after waking up late at night. She was very happy about being rescued from her crib and getting to spend a few minutes with her daddy before going back to bed!

Pretty in pink and green

I know it's been 100+ degrees outside, but this sweater is light, and it looked so sweet on her!

Mall

Katie and I took her to the mall the other day, and one of the photo places had a new trainee, so we got to do a sitting so she could get some practice. We also entered Kenzie into the New Faces contest (details at PicturePeople.com) with this picture (the close-up, above). The other pictures, below, were just the other ones taken that we thought were cute.

Still not crawling yet, but getting better every day! Won't be long before we'll be chasing her around (and our cats may never come inside again once she has the ability to catch them)

Looks like Doodle and Kenzie became friends over the weekend. Doodle may rethink that once Kenzie is able to crawl around and chase her!

Kenzie had a sleep-over at her Pops and Grammy's house. While she was there, they got her some wagon wheels (a baby cracker). Here she is eating one.

Trying to crawl

She can get up on her hands and knees really well now. She's able to move her knees okay, but hasn't quite gotten her hand-knee-coordination down yet. Mostly, she does the "inch worm" where she scoots her knees forward, then slides her hands forward so she's on her belly again, then gets on her hands and knees and repeats. Today though, she moved her knee forward, and picked up one of her hands to move, before she fell on her face. She'll be crawling soon!

Eating

Here's a video of her eating some little puffed-cereal type food. When she is able to grasp one in her hand (very occassionally), she hasn't quite figured out yet how to get it out of her little fist and into her mouth. But we're working on it! She still enjoys gumming them though.

Eating

We got her a feeder that has a mesh bag to put food in, so that she can eat real food. I cut up and froze some bananas and peaches. She loved them!

It's hard to tell in this picture, but she got some peaches on her forehead and nose also.

Sunglasses

These are her Elton John sunglasses. They finally fit her face! When we put them on her, she looks around like she's seeing everything differently ... All of her toys turned pink!!

Music

Kenzie's her daddy's groupie! She loves to listen to him play his guitar.
